FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — October 13, 2026 Brookline’s Festival of Trees returns December 3–6 for 10th annual celebration The free four-day celebration brings decorated trees, music, and neighbors together at Tree of Life Open Bible Church. PITTSBURGH, Pa., October 13, 2026 — Brookline’s 10th Annual Festival of Trees returns December 3–6 to Tree of Life Open Bible Church, 1036 Brookline Boulevard in Pittsburgh. Admission is free. Visitors will find a sanctuary transformed into a forest of themed Christmas trees decorated by local families, businesses, organizations, and individuals. The festival began as a fun tree-decorating challenge within the congregation and has grown into a community tradition. “The first year started as mostly a fun challenge between congregation members to see who could create the most unique tree. Now reaching the 10th year, the event has grown to include community involvement,” said Rev. Lance Rhoades, pastor of Tree of Life Open Bible Church. Organizers say last year’s festival featured more than 100 tree displays and welcomed nearly 1,000 visitors. Guests can walk among the trees, read the stories behind the displays in a complimentary program book, and vote for their favorite trees. Christmas karaoke runs Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday features a craft and vendor show from noon to 8 p.m., plus free Selfies with Santa and live holiday music. Santa returns Sunday, when children can also enjoy a craft area; food service ends at 5 p.m. The festival also features a photo booth, a coffee and cocoa bar, and refreshments for purchase. Sunday includes the church’s regular morning worship service among the trees and special Christmas music from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Additional activity times and updates will be posted on the festival website. 2026 VISITING HOURS Thursday, December 3: 5–8 p.m. Friday, December 4: 5–8 p.m. Saturday, December 5: 11 a.m.–8 p.m. Sunday, December 6: 1–8 p.m. Saturday’s festival also falls on Brookline Together’s Brookline Lights Up, the neighborhood celebration scheduled for December 5 from 2 to 6 p.m. Visitors can make a day of holiday activities in Brookline.
