Why we gather
Brookline’s Festival of Trees is a free Christmas gathering and outreach of Tree of Life Open Bible Church. It gives families and neighbors a chance to slow down together and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas—love. For ten years, people have shared their creativity and welcomed neighbors into a room full of light.

The festival’s spirit
Tree designers, volunteers, supporters, and visitors make this celebration together. Each tree adds a different voice to the room.
Admission is free, and the festival welcomes neighbors of every age to enjoy the displays.
Families, businesses, organizations, and individuals bring their own themes and stories to the trees.
Voting, music, shared traditions, and simple conversations turn a visit into a community memory.
From the first year forward
Kris’s founding motto comes from How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The organizers are developing an official mission statement, and this page will carry that statement once it is approved.
